What's 'The Chapess' all about then .. I hear you ask?! Well, this is the blog for the forthcoming Zine: 'The Chapess'. Not intended to be a rival to The Chap, but more of an emergent 'Sister Mag'.
The Chapess answers the call for an alternative, in particular, to the mainstream UK mags which subscribe to unattainable image and lifestyle ideals.
There'll be none of their gaudy glossiness (understated b/w photocopying for us!) or glossing over the facts either, but plenty of stunning drawings and honest words from women in from all walks of life, grappling with what it means to be women at the dawn of this new decade.
